COMPENSATION SURVEY INFORMATION

One
hundred thirty-eight questionnaires were mailed to WSAE members
in October 2002. Forty-three questionnaires were returned. Data
was collected in October-November, 2002 based on salaries and wages
in effect as of October 2002.
Data
reported for the three highest executive positions is grouped by
the size of the association budget, geographic area and association
type. Due to strict anti-trust regulations, the individual association
information cannot be shown.
The
summaries of salary data and benefits for the clerical and support
staff follows the summaries for the executives. Respondents were
asked to report individuals in the job that best described the majority
of duties and in only one position. The
