Hi again. I realized that I hadn't provided my "intro" here on the WSAE Forum, so here goes . . .
I am currently the executive director of the Bowling Centers Association of Wisconsin (BCAW), a statewide 501(c)6 association representing approximately 170 bowling centers throughout the state. We are a small organization with a budget of <$500,000 and a staff of 3.5 FTEs. Many of our programs and services are targeted at the youth market, which is a real passion of mine. To be back working for bowling and providing scholarship opportunities for kids . . . well it doesn't get much better than that!
I have been involved in WSAE, on and off, for nearly 20 years having worked mostly with 501(c)3 organizations. I have had the pleasure to serve WSAE on the board of directors twice, and look forward to reengaging with my friends and colleagues here.
In addition to my paid position with BCAW, I also do some independent consulting in the areas of strategic planning, governance, board & staff development and event planning. Most of my work in these areas have been with US Youth Soccer affiliated state associations from around the country.
