Association 101 is a basic-level orientation program designed to introduce newcomers or those with less than two years experience to the many functions of association and nonprofit management.

Carefully crafted by the Association Forum Education Committee, Association 101 has received enthusiastic responses from attendees and their supervisors. A good, solid employee orientation often spells the difference between success and failure in the association staffing process and Association 101 provides that solid foundation.

The Association 101 program is conducted jointly with the Association Forum of Chicagoland. Association 101 is held in the Chicago area six times a year. For more information, contact the Forum at http://www.associationforum.org/education/assoc101.asp. Or you can email them at meetings@associationforum.org; phone (312) 236-2828. The cost is $160 (member). WSAE members should be able to register at the member fee, but will have to call, rather than register on the web site. It's a full day program. If you feel ready for something a little more advanced, there is an Association 201 program as well.
