Bio

Bob is the Chief Financial Officer, Senior Vice President of Administration for the Wisconsin Medical Society located in Madison Wisconsin. Bob joined the Society in 2008 and is responsible for all aspects of accounting and information technology for the Society. The Society is a 501(c)6 with over twelve thousand members and $14 Million in assets. The Society also has a 501(c)3 foundation and several for profit corporations including a large insurance agency with over $50 million in premiums.

Prior to his current position Bob was the Vice President – Controller for the Wisconsin Automobile and Truck Dealers Association (WATDA) located in Madison Wisconsin. The WATDA group of companies includes a 501(c)3, a 501(c)6, a 501(c)9 and two for profit subsidiaries including a Wisconsin licensed life and health insurance company. Bob joined WATDA in 1988 after holding positions in retail and insurance accounting. Bob’s role with WATDA included the responsibility for all financial aspects of the five entities as well as a political conduit and PAC. The combined budgets exceed $20 Million. In addition to a controller’s traditional duties Bob also wrote bulletins, answered member questions and taught seminars.

Bob is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin and is a CPA and CAE. Bob completed the Institute for Organization Management and is a member of the Northeast Institute Board of Regents and is also on the Institute Faculty. Bob is a member of American Society of Association Executives, Wisconsin Society of Association Executives, American Institute of CPAs and Wisconsin Institute of CPAs.
