The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requires that places of public accommodation, be accessible to persons with disabilities. The U.S. Department of Justice has taken the position that websites open to the public must also be accessible to persons with sight or hearing impairment.

This interpretation may affect our members' websites, and also those of our associations themselves.

What, if anything, are you all doing about this?

    Hello Barb,

I included accessibility in a recent RFI for a Learning Management System, and will post again if the responses address this in depth.
