    NARI of Madison seeks an action oriented, articulate, organized office manager to help NARI fulfill its mission by building on its solid foundation and past success.  This is a full time, hourly position.  This office manager will be highly organized and have a solid track record of multi-tasking and outstanding customer service.

    Responsibilities (In conjunction with NARI Task Forces)

    1.      Maintain an office calendar, including follow up action items with staff and committees, including recording and following up on assignments at staff meetings.

    2.      Maintain office inventory and hospitality supplies.

    3.      Arrange for travel arrangements for the Executive Director, Board Members, or visiting guests when necessary.

    4.      Manage annual directory project and maintenance throughout the year.

    5.      Manage annual Awards program & Celebrating Excellence event.

    6.      Manage annual Tour program and event.

    7.      Manage General Membership Meetings, including table leader program, workshops, speakers, flyers, registration, announcements, handouts, and help with election.

    8.      Manage Vendor Fair(s).

    9.      Maintain databases of members, prospects, etc.

    10.  Manage ACE program.

    11.  Assist Executive Director and Development Specialist in scheduling new member and potential member visits.

    12.  Assist in day-to-day management of goals and objectives.

    13.  Contact members as needed for events, programs and membership.

    14.  Assist in preparation for all meetings and events.  Attendance at some events will be required and may extend beyond normal work hours.

    15.  Verify and reconcile local and national membership rosters. Track prospective member referrals.

    16.  Be an active part of the staff, offering ideas for efficiency and other growth items whenever possible.

    17.  Serve on national committees as directed.

    18.  Manage budgets for Administrative expenses, including payroll.

    19.  Process A/R, A/P and all payment processing and general bookkeeping

    20.  Manage Certification Program.

    Requirements

    Candidates should have a passion for the practice and progression of non-profit work, ability to work independently and in collaboration with others; excellent communicator in possession of written and verbal skills; ability to be a contributing team member; ability to actively listen; willing to work in a fast paced environment that demands extensive computer usage.

    Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, QuickBooks, website or graphic design experience is a plus.
