    Full-time Opportunity for an Experienced Meetings Manager

    Seeking an experienced meeting planner (CMP preferred) to work with multiple client associations planning a variety of meetings in beautiful national and international settings, including annual conferences, educational seminars, board meetings and more! Do you have experience planning complex meetings with multiple concurrent events? Are you up to date on the latest technology innovations in the field, including mobile apps and more?     POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: (40 hours/week. Overtime required during meetings and high volume periods, as needed.)

    The position will assist the Director of Meetings and the Executive Director with planning and execution of meetings. Duties may include:


    Meetings Coordination:

    Serve as contact for Conference Task Force Chair and Education Task Force Chair; coordinate meetings; develop agendas; produce minutes

    Establish online registration portal; manage registration; produce weekly snapshot reports

    Maintain sponsor and vendor contacts lists

    Compile operations manual; identify transportation options

    Place A/V and food and beverage orders; maintain golf outing registration list; create post-meeting report

    Manage exhibitors


    Program Development

    Write website and conference program content; develop PowerPoint speaker template

    Write annual meeting script in conjunction with staff and volunteer leaders

    Coordinate speaker arrangements; maintain and update conference schedule; plan special events

    General administration: Support Association Acumen and client teams by drafting correspondence, coordinating conference calls, scanning and maintaining files. Any other duties or projects, as requested.

    Be able to travel 4-8 weeks per year, including internationally
