Hello!
My name is Mike Ulmer, and I'm the founder and CEO of Eagle Creek Partners, an Indiana-based consulting firm with a mission to help organizations and individuals set and achieve meaningful objectives for growth and prosperity. My experience includes leadership and management roles with for-profit and not-for-profit organizations both large and small. My work over the years has focused on human resources, information technology, strategic planning, risk management, member engagement, developing future leaders, and the growth of new sources of revenue for membership organizations.
Prior to launching this new firm, I was a senior leader with the National Association of Mutual Insurance Companies (NAMIC), based in Indianapolis, where I helped grow the association into the largest national trade for the property/casualty industry in the country.
In recent years, NAMIC had many members based in Wisconsin, and I was fortunate to be able to visit and engage with them at regional events across the state. As a fellow Midwesterner, the people, values, and company cultures always impressed me, and as a new member of WSAE I'm excited about the prospect of working with great Wisconsin-based organizations again.
My firm offers a number of services to associations, including full-service strategic planning, research (member surveys, competitive scans/analysis), technology consulting and support, marketing and communications services, employee coaching, and operations consulting.
We also offer services to individuals including personal coaching, resume writing and review, interview coaching and preparation, and personal technology coaching (training and support tailored to individual needs).
Our current work for clients includes a member needs assessment project for a professional society that was founded in 2020, website updates and technology consulting work, and some resume and career coaching for association executives seeking employment.
I'm best described as a perpetual student, passionate about finding better ways to live and work. I am happiest when I know I'm helping organizations and individuals get better at what they do.
I hold a B.S. in Computer and Information Science from Purdue University, an MBA from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business, a certificate in Leadership Principles from Harvard Business School Online, and I hold the CAE designation from the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE).

Hello All!
It looks like I posted in this thread 3 years ago. No much has changed since then, right?
- I am Ed Buchner.
- I work as part of the team at Majic Productions. We are a full-service provider of on-site and virtual audio-visual needs. Some offerings include a full studio at our location, video production, set design, and everything technical you need for an event.
- I have been working with associations for over 25 years.
- I love being able to find solutions for our clients that provide a good return on investment. Associations need to be frugal on spending too much on something that doesn't complete their goals.
- Fun fact, as part of my crazy resume, I coached high school football at my alma mater for 8 seasons.
We can't wait to make your event happen!

Hi I'm Nathan Florek and I the Marketing Coordinator for AMPED Association Management. I started working at AMPED just this week in a part time position as I am finishing up my college degree. I like my work so far at AMPED because everyone has been so welcoming and also it offers me an opportunity to learn a lot from a lot of different companies. A fun fact about me is I enjoy being out in nature and visiting the waterfalls near my parents cabin.

Hello WSAE Members!
One of the wonderful things about WSAE is being able to network with one another. The WSAE online community gets bigger every day and is the perfect place to connect to solve the challenges we face and get to know each other. Many of you already know one another, while others are brand-new faces. We feel like it's time that we (both new members and established ones) take a little time to introduce ourselves! Please take a few moments to reply to this thread with the following information:
1. Your name
2. The name of your organization
3. How long you've been working in or with associations
4. Why you enjoy your work
5. A fun fact - favorite vacation spot, interesting hobby, unique pet, etc.
I'll kick things off. I'm Michelle Czosek and I'm the Associate Director of the Wisconsin Society of Association Executives. I've been working with WSAE for a year and have been in the association management field for over 20 years. I love my work because each day brings new challenges and opportunities, and I get to interact with so many interesting people.
A fun fact about me.....I love to scuba dive!
Thanks in advance for participating!
