Beyond Association Silos: 10 Tips to Redesign Conference and Learning Strategy

When:  Feb 27, 2018 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM (CT)
This webinar is designed for CEOs and Executive Directors in a team-based, learning approach with key staff who lead conferences, professional development, content/publications, IT, marketing and member services. Through aspects of design thinking, explore ways to collaborate beyond silos, develop actionable scenarios and break the cycle of “this is how we’ve always done things”. Today’s learning formats must be timely, accessible, relevant to job duties while solving problems and driving professional competencies. Think beyond the traditional conference and webinar formats to redesign a roadmap for your learning portfolio. Implement innovations that meet members at their point and time of need.

  • Explore the reliance on traditional learning/conference models as primary non-dues revenue sources.
  • Assess the issues behind poorly attended workshops and limited users in online learning platforms that reach a small percentage of total membership annually, but cost valuable time, energy, staffing and financial resources.
  • Shift resources and staffing to focusing on application of knowledge through competency and skills development to impact the professions you serve.
