At the age of 27 Patrick started, grew and sold Shoreline Magazine. The publication went from having two to 20 employees in roughly three years.
As Director of Membership for the Illinois Hotel and Lodging Association, Pat grew membership by 40%, while growing the budget over $250,000 by adding a strategic partner program.
As Executive Director, He transformed The Illinois Travel and Tourism Association, Visit Illinois, from a 30 member club into a federation of Illinois Tourism Associations with a membership in the 100s-of-thousands while increasing the budget by a factor of 9!
Patrick has excellent consulting and operations experience. While working with Billionaire, Best Selling Author Steve Kaplan, Patrick and Steve focused on “Consulting for Growth” for small to mid-size companies, associations and chambers of commerce--Patrick also performed Big Client Sales Training Events and consulting for companies like Panasonic, AT&T, Frito Lay and Oracle.
Patrick as an Adjunct Professor at Kendall College. He taught prior to that at Roosevelt University. Patrick is constantly searching for ways to enrich the lives of his students. Patrick believes that teaching at the college level is collaborative. Which means teaching is a discussion and he leverages the intellectual capacity of every student in the room.
Patrick is currently Executive Director at USASBE, where he is making an impact by doubling exhibitor revenues and increasing membership by 40%.
Patrick has BA in Communications from Eastern Illinois University andI IOM designation from the US Chamber Institute for Organizational Management at the University of Notre Dame.
