Hello!! Just joined WSAE and excited to meet and network with everyone. I am a veteran of the meetings and tourism industry having spent 17+ years. My more recent stops have been working for VISIT Milwaukee as their Convention Sales Manager covering the DC and Multicultural markets. And then prior I was the Regional Director of Sales for the Cincinnati CVB. This year I shifted lanes with the focus on Diversity & Inclusion as it effects the hospitality and association industry. Thrilled to share I launched my diversity consulting business - GSM Consulting. I help coach and train organizations on the value and importance for diversity within the workplace. Some of my services include: organizational assessment, half-day diversity training, examining recruitment strategy, help meet your company goals, build and develop initiatives – both short and long term. On a personal level, I love running (recently ran my personal record for my fastest mile - 6:04) and I am obsessed with Orangetheory Fitness! Also, I am a huge fan of craft beers, tasty craft cocktails, and red wine. I am a transplant, moved to Milwaukee six years ago from Chicago. And I have fallen in love with the city, culture, food, and the people of Milwaukee! My close friends know that I enjoy cooking and entertaining. And a fun fact is I always have NPR playing in the background at my condo.
