I've been with the Wisconsin Dental Association since 1993. It's been so long that I don't remember life prior to the WDA, I mean that in a very good way.
Always up for a new challenge, I started as an administrative assistant and mob my way up to Director of Membership, added on Director of Information Technology, took on the running of our annual session, and then found my greatest fulfillment in organizing our annual Mission of Mercy event - a free two day dental clinic serving approximately 2,000 patients per year.
I currently am finding new challenge in my role as the Associate Executive Director and tackling strategic planning and leadership development.
In Aug 2011 I became a director on the America's Dentists Care Foundation Board. ADCF provides support and mentoring to states hosting Mission of Mercy events. We own the portable dental equipment that is used to provide the care.
