The Association will be recognizing the awardees on their prestigious accomplishments during the 2024 Annual Summit, November 19-20 at The Edgewater Hotel. 
 

Excellence in Professional Service Awards

Association Leadership Award
Awarded for demonstrated leadership within the recipient’s association, profession or the association community through one or more of the Values of WSAE. WSAE advances the following organizational values:

    • Fostering a welcoming and inclusive community
    • Operating with integrity by being open, honest and transparent
    • Promoting association management rooted in passion, a positive attitude and fun
    • Shaping the future by identifying industry trends and developing dynamic responses


Visionary Award
Awarded for outstanding commitment to their association, profession or the association community’s innovation and leadership as evidenced by one or more of the Core Competencies of WSAE (leadership/mentorship, knowledge, community impact).

Hall of Fame Award 
(Need not be awarded annually, but there may be multiple recipients)
Awarded for demonstrating involvement and commitment to the association management field on a continuous basis.

    • Currently or formerly a WSAE member viewed as a mentor or role model within the association industry
    • Member has shown dedication, commitment and involvement in WSAE continuously throughout their membership 
    • Other recognition or achievement on behalf of the association management industry


Young Professional Award (Need not be awarded annually, but there may be multiple recipients)
Awarded to a young professional that is making a difference with their contributions to WSAE, their association or the association management field, made evident by their contributions to WSAE and their interest in both personal and professional development. These individuals exemplify the best in association management by continually bringing credit to the profession and the association management community, as well as the profession or industry they represent.

    • Current WSAE member, actively involved in a full-time position in association management or as an industry partner
    • Millennial or Generation Z
    • Demonstrated commitment, dedication and involvement in the association industry
